17 sites added to nationally ranked monuments list

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued decisions to rank 17 more national monuments in the provinces of Bac Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Gia Lai, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Nghe An, TP. Ho Chi Minh City, Tuyen Quang, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and Hai Phong.

Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City has two monuments: Dinh Than Linh Dong Artistic Architectural Relic (Linh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City) and Artistic Architectural Monuments Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

Nam Dinh province has two relics including the historical relic of Khieu Hoan Temple (Dai Thang commune, Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province) and Thi Lieu architectural art relic (Dai Thang commune, Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province).

Thai Binh province has two relics including Dinh Bui Artistic Architectural Relic (Duyen Hai Commune, Hung Ha District, Thai Binh Province) and Dinh Tau Artistic Architectural Relic (Dong Son Commune, Dong Hung District, Thai Binh Province).

The remaining monuments belong to the provinces of Bac Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Gia Lai, Nghe An, Tuyen Quang, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and Hai Phong. Including: Dinh architectural art relic, Temple of Ren village (Canh Hung commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province); Historical relics of the massacre site in Bu Dop (Phuoc Thien commune, Bu Dop district, Binh Phuoc province); Architectural relic of Dinh Thanh Hoa (Thot Not ward, Thot Not district, Can Tho city); Dinh Tan Nhuan Dong architectural art relic (Tan Nhuan Dong commune, Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap province); Roc Tung - Go Da archaeological relic (Xuan An commune and An Binh ward, An Khe town, Gia Lai province); Historical relics of Cau Cam (Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province); Archaeological relic of Nui But Cave (Thuong Am commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province); Historical relic Temple Xa Tac (Ka Long ward, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province); Historical Monuments of the Mo and Vo Xuan Can Church (Tan Thuy and Cam Thuy communes, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province); Historical relic Nguyen Lien Temple (Thanh Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province); and Historical relic Bach Dang Giang relic area (Minh Duc town, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city).

According to the decisions, the People's Committees at all levels where the relics are ranked, within the scope of their duties and powers, are to perform the state management of the relic in accordance with the law on cultural heritage./.
