Bangladesh Embassy in Vietnam supports people affected by COVID-19 in Hanoi

(CPV) - The Bangladesh Embassy in Vietnam recently organized a program to present gifts to people in difficult situation amid COVID-19 pandemic in Hanoi’s Tay Ho district.

The program was also carried out on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the death of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation of Bangladesh.
On behalf of the Embassy, Bangladesh Ambassador in Vietnam Samina Naz, directly presented gifts to representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Tay Ho district.

“Through this activity, the Embassy wishes to express the solidarity and friendship of the Government and people of Bangladesh towards the frontline forces in the fight against the pandemic and families in difficult circumstances in Tay Ho district, Hanoi in particular and in Vietnam in general. Hopefully, the Government and people of Vietnam will soon defeat the pandemic and overcome this difficult period," Ambassador Samina Naz shared.
Immediately after receiving support from the Bangladesh Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho district quickly delivered the necessities to posts to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic and disadvantaged households in 8 wards in the district./.
