The Aju Business Daily in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee and the Korea and Vietnam Cultural Exchange Association (Koveca) will organize economic forums in the southern city and Binh Duong province from October 17th-19th.

Ho Chi Minh city is the economic spearhead of Vietnam, while Binh Duong attracts the largest number of Korean firms seeking investment opportunity in the country.

At the end of November, Vietnam will send a delegation to the Korea-ASEAN summit and Korea-Mekong summit in Busan city.

The first Ho Chi Minh city economic forum last year was attended by more than 600 experts, scientists and business representatives to discuss and propose directions of building the southern hub as a smart city. The forum was organized successfully with the support of the Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee.

Vietnam and the RoK are striving to raise bilateral trade turnover to USD100 billion in the near future./.
