Ho Chi Minh City always creates favorable conditions for Israeli businesses

Speaking at the ceremony, Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Yaron Mayer said that in 31 years the Vietnam - Israel diplomatic relationship has developed strongly in many fields such as economics and technology. According to Ambassador Yaron Mayer, the two countries' trade turnover exceeded USD2.7 billion last year. Israeli shipping company Zim – one of the world's leading shipping companies – has moved its Southeast Asia hub to Vietnam, opening up a direct trade route between the two countries. The Vietnam-Israel Free Trade Agreement signed last July is an important milestone built on trust and a common desire for a shared future.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Government and people of Vietnam, authorized by the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Van Dung wished the Ambassador, his wife, the Israeli community in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam, and the Israeli Government and people the best congratulations on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Independence Day.

Nguyen Van Dung affirmed that the consistent viewpoint of the Ho Chi Minh City Government has been and will always be to support and accompany Israeli businesses to do effective, safe and long-term investment. “The city government will always create favorable conditions and support the Israeli Embassy in promoting bilateral cooperation programs and projects, contributing to strengthening the friendly relationship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries,” he added.

He also expressed his belief that with the potential and continuous development of the two countries, with the support of the people and the commitment of the leaders of both sides, bilateral cooperation, particularly involving Ho Chi Minh City, will take off in the near future./.
