Japanese group seeks collaboration to recruit workers in Dong Thap

On November 26, a delegation from Hirosawa Group (Japan), led by Mr. Sogawa Shiro, Chairman of Hirosawa Group and Vice Chairman of the Japan Association of Transport Companies and Driving Schools, visited Dong Thap province to discuss potential areas of collaboration.

Expressing the desire to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the two regions, Mr. Sogawa Shiro proposed cooperation with Dong Thap in recruiting labor for Japan’s transportation sector. Specifically, the group aims to hire personnel for driver training programs in Japan. They also expressed interest in partnering with Dong Thap University for training programs, collaborating in football training, and promoting trade activities between the two sides.
Welcoming the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien, Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee, expressed gratitude for Hirosawa Group's interest in exploring cooperation opportunities with the province.
The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of Transport and other relevant units, engaging with Hirosawa Group and identifying specific areas of collaboration.
Additionally, he tasked the Department of Planning and Investment with consolidating and advancing cooperative initiatives through the Japanese Business Support Division, facilitating investment and operations in Dong Thap province./.
