Kon Tum strengthens and expands cooperation and friendship with Lao province

On November 24, a delegation of Kon Tum province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thap paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Salavan province (Laos) on the occasion of attending the opening ceremony of the trade and tourism products fair in this province, during which Mr. Thap said he wished the cooperation and friendship between the two provinces to be increasingly expanded and strengthened.

Receiving the delegation of Kon Tum province, Secretary of the Salavan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Governor introduced the socio-economic development situation of the province over the past time, and expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation to visit and attend the trade and tourism products fair in Salavan.
He said he believed that in the coming time, Salavan and Kon Tum provinces would continue to strengthen coordination in organizing the implementation of the two provinces' Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the period 2022 - 2027 in the fields of politics and diplomacy, economy, culture, society, tourism, agriculture, rural development; education - training and human resource development, which was signed in September 2022 in Kon Tum province.
Vice Chairman of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Thap, on behalf of the delegation, thanked Salavan province for the respectful and thoughtful welcome to the delegation and sent his best wishes to the leaders of Salavan province; wished the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries to be eternally sustainable; and the cooperation and friendship between the two provinces of Kon Tum - Salavan to be increasingly expanded and strengthened./.
