Nghe An to receive statue of leader V.I.Lenin

With the approval of the policy of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and the proposal of Ulyanovsk province (Russian Federation), Nghe An province will receive and place the statue of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in Vinh City on the occasion of the 154th anniversary of his birth (April 22).

Nghe An province has also completed construction of the campus and pedestal for the statue. The campus is more than 1,000 square meters, the statue's pedestal is 3 meters high, engraved with the words in Russian and Vietnamese "V.I. LENIN, 1870-1924" on the front, and the back is engraved with the words "Symbol of Vietnam-Russia friendship".

This is a work that symbolizes the friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, and is also a cultural and artistic symbol, expressing the sacred feelings of the people of Nghe An and Ulyanovsk provinces for each other.

The statue of V.I. Lenin creates a beautiful space and is a highlight for the urban appearance of the central area of Vinh City.

The activity contributes to further connecting the two provinces of Nghe An and Ulyanovsk in bilateral cooperation activities in the fields of investment, trade, health, education and training, and tourism.

In 2015, Nghe An province coordinated with Ulyanovsk province to build a monument to President Ho Chi Minh.

The statue construction campus was arranged by province with an area of more than 2,000 square meters and President Ho Chi Minh monument was inaugurated in Ulyanovsk province in 2017./.
