Vietnam’s handicrafts attract visitors at bazaar in Pakistan

A charity bazaar was organized by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the The Pakistan Foreign Office Women's Association in Islamabad (PFOWA) in the campus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on November 15th.

The event drew the participation of nearly 50 Embassies, foreign missions, international organizations in Islamabad as well as Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of corporations and large companies operating in Pakistan.

Speaking at the opening of the bazaar, Chairman of Pakistan’s National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry condemned terrorist acts in Pakistan, Lebanon, France on November 13th.

Leaders of Pakistan appreciated the solidarity of people in countries in the struggle against terrorism and the large number of embassies participating in the PFOWA Bazaar 2015 was proof of this solidarity.

At the bazaar, Vietnam’s kiosk attracted a large number of visitors with hand embroidered paintings, palm-leaf conical hats, bamboo hats and handmade mosaics.

The annual bazaar has made practical contributions to the local society and community. The bazaar was also an opportunity for embassies to exchange, introduce their land, people and culture to local people and international visitors./.
