At the ceremony, the reporter met a special lady, who introduced various Vietnamese cultural products to him. Later, he learned that the lady is the mother of Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran Nguyen Hong Thach.
“A lady with the demeanour attracting admiration from others making us curious to talk, then I learned she is the mother of Ambassador Nguyen Hong Thach. She led me to go around the main hall, which showcases antiques and art products," reporter Mehdi Sepahvand writes in his article.
The object drawing the most attention from the reporter is a special kettledrum, which is called "Dong Son". Ambassador Thach's mother introduced this item as having a history of 4,000 years.
The mother of the Ambassador also introduced a product called the "gongs" to the reporter.
For Mehdi Sepahvand, "gongs" appeared like a big plate, exquisitely carved.
"With so many carvings, each image comes with an interesting story. This object reminded me of similar carvings in Persepolis that our ancestors for a long time think is worth exhibiting and conserving," wrote reporter Mehdi Sepahvand./.
