2017 Sports Festival of Vietnamese Community in Beijing launched

The 2017 Sports Festival of the Overseas Vietnamese Community in Beijing was launched on October 4th at the stadium of University of Science and Technology, Beijing, in order to mark the 61st founding of the Vietnam Youth Federation (October 15th).

It is the largest annual sport event held by overseas Vietnamese students in Beijing, organized by the Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Vietnamese Student Association in Beijing and Vietnamese Embassy in China.
This sports festival was joined by over 200 athletes in 15 teams from universities in Beijing, Tianjin and the Vietnamese Embassy in China, who competed in competitions such as tug of war, badminton, tennis, billiards and football.
The event is a significant activity for overseas Vietnamese students in China, thus helping them to improve their health as well as exchange with each other.
The festival will end on October 5th./.
