The program was organized by the Vietnamese Student Association in RoK (VSAK), under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in RoK and the Vietnam Science and Technology Office in RoK, with the sponsorship of many units and enterprises of the two countries.

The ACVYS is an opportunity for young Vietnamese scientists to present the latest research results as well as share their passion, scientific research experience, and practical applications in various fields.

Speaking at the conference, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Nguyen Vu Tung emphasized that the event is a place to encourage the force of young research scientists studying and living in RoK.

According to the Ambassador, Vietnam and RoK have agreed to expand the scale and support diverse exchange projects for future generations, in which young people are the "bridges" - the future owners of the friendship and development relationship between the two countries, and Vietnamese high-quality knowledge human resources in RoK.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Hung, President of the Vietnamese Student Association in RoK, said that the association will make more efforts in its role as a leader of students to organize useful programs, exchanges and many development opportunities in study and work for Vietnamese students in RoK.

This year, the Organizing Committee conducts scientific reporting sessions in seven topics with key sectors such as Materials, Energy, Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Information Technology.

The Organizing Committee and Scientific Council have received registrations and selected 41 reports in all seven fields. Along with that, the Organizing Committee has received the largest registration number of participants ever, with nearly 500 Vietnamese students in RoK.

The Scientific Council selected and awarded the seven best reporters.

On this occasion, the organizers also launched registration for the Vietnam Young Scientist Award in RoK (VYSK 2023), awarding the five candidates with the most outstanding research achievements in their fields to honor and raise the research and study spirit of overseas Vietnamese students.

Particularly, a seminar themed "Overseas Vietnamese students in RoK - Seize the opportunity, reach the future" was also held with the participation of Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung, and professors, associate professors and Doctors from Korean universities.

The seminar aims to share with students the industry and scientific trends of Vietnam and RoK in particular and of the world in general, helping students make the right choice in choosing their majors as well as determining their research orientation./.
