Consulate General of Vietnam in Houston meets overseas Vietnamese people and entrepreneurs

The Consulate General of Vietnam in Houston, the US, has recently organized a meeting with about 120 overseas Vietnamese and entrepreneurs living, doing business and manufacturing in Texas and a number of other states across the US.

This event is in a series of activities of representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in the US, Texas in particular, to celebrate the 78th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, congratulating Vietnam and the US on upgrading their relationship to "Comprehensive strategic partnership for peace, cooperation and sustainable development".
The goal of this event is to create a premise to build a forum/network to connect overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses investing and doing business in the US as well as making connections more closely and effectively with the domestic business community and market.
At the meeting, dozens of overseas Vietnamese who are intellectuals, entrepreneurs, as well as a number of businesses from Vietnam shared their experiences and were ready to support, advise and cooperate with Vietnamese businesses looking for investment opportunities in Vietnam and the US.
All their comments expressed approval and response to the efforts of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Houston in encouraging the Vietnamese community in Texas, and the US in general, to promote connection, exchange and mutual support for development, promoting the spirit of solidarity to be able to contribute more strength and intelligence to the cause of building the homeland and the country as well as developing cooperative and friendly relations between Vietnam and the US./.
