Free online Korean course for foreign workers

From early 2022, foreigners looking for jobs in the Republic of Korea (RoK) under the Employment Permit System (EPS) program will be able to join in a free online Korean course.

The RoK’s Human Resource Development Company said that it had established a partnership with the King Sejong Institute Foundation to launch an online Korean course to serve the EPS-TOPIK Korean certification exam, and it is free for migrant foreign workers from the first half of 2022.
The exam is organized by RoK’s Ministry of Labor to test the Korean skills of migrant foreign workers who want to work for companies in this country.
EPS is a labor program for special immigration foreigners, under which workers from 16 Asian countries are allowed to work in unskilled occupations such as fishing, agriculture and manufacturing.
This course will be carried out in the first half of 2022 in Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam and Bangladesh, and then expanded to all 16 countries under the EPS program./.
