The flight was arranged by Vietnamese authorities, Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei, Vietjet Air and related authorities of Brunei.

The majority of the passengers included workers of the Vietnamese-based LILAMA Corporation whose visas and labour contracts had expired, and others with extremely difficult circumstances.

The Vietnamese Embassy sent its staff to the airport to assist the citizens in completing boarding procedures.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, disease prevention measures were strictly carried out during the flight. Upon landing at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, the flight crew and all passengers were given health check-ups and quarantined.

In the coming time, more flights will be arranged to bring home Vietnamese citizens, depending on citizens’ desire, the COVID-19 pandemic situation, and quarantine capacity at home./.
