Nearly 200 athletes join Vietnam-Laos Friendship Golf Tournament 2022

The Vietnam-Laos Friendship Golf Tournament 2022 was recently organized by the Vietnamese Business Association for Cooperation and Investment in Laos, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos and the Lao Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the representative of the Organizing Board said the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Golf Tournament 2022 is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Vietnam – Laos diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the bilateral Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
The tournament is to help strengthen the understanding and cohesion between the Vietnamese and Laotian business communities and ministries, departments and sectors of Laos and the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, thereby contributing to strengthening and deepening the relationship between the two countries.
The prize structure includes one first prize, one second prize and one third prize, and Longest Drives prize, one Nearest to the pin prize for each group.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, 200 amateur athletes from Laos and Vietnam were divided into three groups entering the competition.
The tournament is considered a useful playground, creating opportunities for exchanges, thereby contributing to enhancing understanding and cohesion between the business communities of the two countries in particular and Laos-Vietnam relations in general./.
