Nearly 94 Vietnamese citizens in Brunei brought home to celebrate Tet

A flight was organized to bring nearly 94 Vietnamese citizens home from Brunei to celebrate the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) in the context of the suspension of commercial international air routes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The flight, arranged by the Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei in coordination with LILAMA SEA Brunei Company (under the Vietnam Assembly Corporation (LILAMA) and Vietjet Air, aimed to meet overseas Vietnamese’s wishes to return home to celebrate the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei sent officials directly to the airport to coordinate with relevant authorities to guide and assist citizens in completing the boarding procedures to return home.

With the goal of ensuring the health of citizens and preventing the spread of the pandemic, Vietjet Air has strictly implemented security, safety and epidemiological measures during the flight. Immediately after landing at Noi Bai International Airport, the passengers began medical monitoring and centralized medical isolation in accordance with regulations./.
