Vietnam Business Association in Japan organizes its congress

The Vietnam Business Association in Japan (VJBA) organized a congress in Tokyo on August 29 to review its operations in the 2021 - 2023 term and elect a new Executive Board for the 2023 - 2025 term.

The congress was held as part of activities to mark 50 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Van Ky, Standing Vice Chairman of the VJBA Executive Board for the 2021 - 2023 term, emphasised that the association has always promoted its role in strengthening connections and solidarity to further develop the Vietnamese business community in Japan despite facing various challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said that the VJBA has made great efforts in creating opportunities for connecting businesses of the two countries, thereby providing consultancy and guidance and supporting investment procedures, as well as actively participating in trade promotion activities.

At the congress, the delegates elected a new Executive Board for the 2023 - 2025 term, and Ms. Tong Thi Kim Giao elected as the Chairwoman.

On this occasion, the VJBA unveiled a plan to organise "Vietnam-Japan Business Day 2023" on November 2, to help businesses of the two countries to share experiences and enhance economic cooperation between Vietnam and Japan./.
