Vietnamese Ambassador presents Credential Letter to King of Jordan

After the meeting for presentation of Credentials, Ambassador Dang Xuan Dung conveyed Vietnamese leaders’ greetings and invitation to visit Vietnam to King Abdullah II and the Jordanian leader at a suitable time for both countries, and congratulated the Jordanian people on the achievements gained in the development of the country over the past time under the leadership of the King.

The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to strengthen its friendship and cooperation with Jordan in all fields, and promised to make every effort to contribute to deepening the two countries' relations.

Congratulating Vietnam on achieving many successes in economic development and gaining an increasingly high position in the international arena, King Abdullah II said that Jordan and Vietnam have a lot of potential to further develop bilateral relations, especially in terms of economy, trade and tourism.

King Abdullah II thanked the ambassador for the invitation and expressed his wish to have the opportunity to visit Vietnam soon.

In the framework of the presentation of the Credential Letter, Ambassador Dang Xuan Dung laid a wreath to pay tribute to the late Kings of Jordan.

Previously, on November 17, Ambassador Dang Xuan Dung presented a copy of the Credential Letter to the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Jordan Leena Al-Hadid, and worked with the Head of the Asia-Pacific Department, Head of the Protocol Department, Head of the Consular Department, cum Head of the Operational Department and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan to discuss measures to strengthen relations between Vietnam and Jordan in the coming time./.
