Vietnamese Embassy in Australia congratulates Laos on National Day

At the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Tat Thanh congratulated the great achievements that the Party, State and People of Laos have achieved in recent years, emphasizing the significance of traditional relationships and comprehensive cooperation, special solidarity and great friendship between the two countries, affirming that the peace, stability and prosperity of Laos play an important role in Vietnam's development.

The Ambassador proposed that the two Embassies, under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, continue to promote the good tradition of cooperation through exchange and cooperation activities both multilaterally and bilaterally.

Charge d'affaires of the Lao Embassy Kanya Khammoungkhoun recalled the heroic history of the two peoples in the resistance war for national independence, expressing his pleasure at the Vietnam - Laos special solidarity and traditional friendship that is constantly being strengthened and deepened  to be more effective.

He believes that the two Embassies will continue to further strengthen the cooperation relationship and mutual support, helping to tighten the good relationship between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, contributing to promoting cooperative relations of each country with Australia.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, officials of the two embassies shared and reviewed the close sentiments and traditions, and solidarity as brothers of their father's generations throughout the historical journey of protecting and building the country./.
