The Vietnamese Embassy in Washington D.C officially released the clip on Vietnamese cuisine - "The Art of Vietnamese cuisine", at an intimate meeting with friends and US partners on the occasion of the end of the year.

Speaking at the event, Chargé d'Affaires Hoang Thi Thanh Nga expressed her delight at the positive developments of the Vietnam-US relations in 2021, especially the two-way trade turnover, which is expected to reach 100 billion USD.
Chargé d'Affaires Hoang Thi Thanh Nga said that Vietnam has initially welcomed international tourists to some localities, officially operating the direct flight between San Francisco and Ho Chi Minh City, with international routes expected to reopen from January 1, 2022 and new regulations on isolation for international visitors entering Vietnam to be issued.
She affirmed that Vietnam is a safe destination for US tourists and investors, with vaccination rates of 62%.
On behalf of Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc and the Vietnamese Embassy in the US, the Chargé d'Affaires announced the release of the clip on Vietnamese cuisine - “The Art of Vietnamese cuisine” to honor Vietnamese culinary culture and welcome international friends to Vietnam.
On this occasion, she also sincerely thanked US friends and partners for their support and contributions over the past year to boost and develop Vietnam-US relations in all fields, especially the very meaningful cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Vietnamese cuisine clip project is part of the Embassy's plan to implement economic and cultural diplomacy, with the aim of promoting tourism and economic recovery.
The clip was carried out by the Embassy with the active support of some Vietnamese restaurants in the Washington - Maryland - Virginia region./.
