The nursing home provides care and supervision for elderly people with Alzheimers, disability or bedridden people and veterans.

More than 30 members who are overseas Vietnamese students and children of overseas Vietnamese in Russia participated in the program.

It includes three main activities: making lotus lanterns, making photo frames and giving lucky money to those in the nursing home.

In a warm and emotional atmosphere, the elderly people held volunteers’ hands tightly, telling them about their exciting youth, stories about a life of dedication to the community and society, about the friendship between the two countries, and singing songs about the people of the two countries.

Through the visit, volunteers understand more about the ideals of the previous generation, giving themselves positive energy to continue to contribute more to society and the community.

To raise charity funds for the program, the volunteer club had launched the sale of graduation gifts, which are completely handmade by members of the club.

The club sold more than 50 gifts and earned nearly 3 million VND within a week.

The club wishes to call for support from the community to bring joy and happiness to those that need support, creating a world with understanding, empathy and full of love.

Established in 2017, the volunteer club operates with the principle of gathering and uniting enthusiastic and dynamic overseas Vietnamese students to participate in volunteer and charity activities throughout the Russian Federation./.
