In 1994, Ca Mau Province built the Uncle Ho memorial site with a house on stilts according to the prototype of President Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts in Hanoi. Over time, the construction was degraded. Therefore, in 2011, Ca Mau Province restored and embellished Uncle Ho's memorial area on a large scale, on an area of about 6.7 hectares. In early January 2014, the construction was inaugurated and officially put it into use, serving domestic and foreign tourists.
