(CPV)- At the 6th National Congress of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan was re-elected as President of the association, term 2021-2026.

Addressing the congress, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam sent his best wishes to the generations of leaders and members of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE), who have given all their responsibilities to the country and people and brought all their wisdom to the career of study promotion and talent promotion. That tireless contribution has made an important and indispensable contribution to the cause of national development and educational innovation, and to the national construction and defense.

The COVID-19 epidemic, along with digital transformation and the 4th industrial revolution, have revealed a lot of things for study promotion and talent promotion associated with the adaptability of each individual in the new era.

Reviewing the National Cultural Conference on implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam recently held on November 24, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that learning is one of the most contents and requirements of building Vietnamese people and culture.

The Congress elected 94 delegates to the Executive Board of VAPE, tenure VI.

The Executive Board of VAPE has unanimously elected Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice State President, to continue to hold the position of President of VAPE, tenure VI, term 2021-2026.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of VAPE presented flags of excellent emulation units to 24 groups of study promotion associations in provinces and cities; awarded Certificates of Merit to 18 study promotion associations in provinces and cities and presented Gold Signboards to 14 members who made great contributions to study promotion activities./.
