Quang Ninh pilots mine tour for first 45 tourists

(CPV) - The Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in association with the coal sector and Lua Viet Outdoor Ltd. Company, has piloted “One Day being a Miner” tour for a tourist delegation at the mining sites of Ha Lam and Vang Doanh Coal Companies.

The delegation included 45 members from ten countries and territories, England, the US, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan (China) and Vietnam.

At the Ha Lam and Van Danh coal mines, the delegation had a chance to put on safety gear for mining, visited outdoor mining sites, managed houses and living areas of workers and enjoyed the meals of miners.

This is the first pilot mining tour of Quang Ninh province. Basing on the results of the trip and responses of tourists, the local tourism and coal sectors will survey to officially build and put the tour into operation, contributing to diversify tourism products of the locality./.
