Quang Ninh announces establishment of Department of Tourism

In his speech at the ceremony, Chairman of the Quang Ninh People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Long said that the establishment of the Department came from the real demand in recent years as Quang Ninh is always considered an attractive and safe tourism spot for both domestic and foreign tourists, and tourism revenue in the province’s GDP always rises each year.

He asked the Department of Tourism to focus on training staff, especially improving foreign language skills and coordinating with relevant agencies to well do state management; creating ideal conditions for investors to implement projects. 

Concurrently, he also urged ensuring absolute security for tourists when they visit Quang Ninh and associating with tourism businesses to build training strategies for staff to make the best products.

The Quang Ninh Department of Tourism is a specialized agency under the provincial People’s Committee. Its duties are to advise and assist the People’s Committee to perform the function of State management on tourism, and State management on public services in the tourism field within the scope of management of the department./.
