The 37th World Flower Council Summit opened at Da Lat University in Da Lat City of the central highlands province of Lam Dong on September 10 with the participation of 200 floral artisans and designers from 18 countries and territories across the globe.

The event was co-held by the World Flower Council and Da Lat University to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the establishment of Da Lat city.
It aimed to honour the value of flowers and the flower industry, and turn flowers into a symbol of peace and culture.
After the opening ceremony, flower designers from Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Macau, and Hong Kong performed their flower-arranging skills.
Within the framework of the summit, 18 designers representing 18 countries and territories joined a demonstration called “My Country Design”, through which these artisans introduced their homelands’ distinctiveness and features.
In addition, a flower-arranging competition was also held within the framework of the summit.
