The Spectrum of the Seas cruise ship, carrying more than 4,300 international guests, returned to Nha Trang City on August 21, after a visit earlier this month.

The guests came from France, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong (China), and Thailand, according to Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism. Due to the large size, the ship could not dock, had to anchor outside Nha Trang Bay, then use small boats to transport passengers to shore.
During the day, more than 4,300 tourists on board Spectrum of the Seas visited a number of tourist attractions of Nha Trang such as the Institute of Oceanography, Ponagar Tower, Truong Son craft village; and took mud baths and cycled to explore suburban villages. The ship left Nha Trang and continued its journey to Phu My - Vung Tau at 4pm on the same day.
Spectrum of the Seas visited Ba Ria - Vung Tau at the end of February 2023 and visited Nha Trang on August 2. The ship is 347 meters long, nearly 50 meters wide, designed with 16 floors, built in Germany in 2019 at a cost of USD940 million. The ship is equipped with the world's leading indoor sports and entertainment complex. According to the owner's representative, this is also the largest and most modern ship operating in Asia.
A travel representative of Saigontourist, a unit that welcomes and serves guests on Spectrum of the Seas, said that since the COVID-19 epidemic, this is the third time the yacht has brought international tourists to Vietnam.
Since the beginning of 2023, Khanh Hoa has welcomed 11 seagoing ships with more than 13,600 guests. Khanh Hoa tourism industry sets a target in 2023 to strive to welcome about 4 million tourists, of which about 2.5 million domestic tourists and 1.5 million international visitors, earning an estimated revenue of VND21,000 billion./.
