After a long period of shutting down due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the tourism industry of Binh Thuan province welcomed the first tourists to ​​Mui Ne on October 24.

The move aims to restart local tourism activities, gradually resume and open the tourism industry to ensure safety and flexibility under the “new normal” conditions. At the same time, the locality targets welcoming domestic tourists and foreigners living and working in Vietnam.

On this occasion, 3 accommodation establishments in Phan Thiet city that are eligible to welcome guests include Anantara Mui Ne, Centara Mirage Mui Ne and Pandanus Resort. On October 24, more than 100 tourists from Ho Chi Minh City traveled and stayed at the above 3 tourism business establishments.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, in order to perform the dual tasks of “both economic development and anti-epidemic”, the locality gradually resumed the operation of the tourism industry and other related economic and service sectors.

Besides implementing temporary guidance on safe, flexible adaptation measures, and effective control of the epidemic according to each epidemic level, the locality will also ensure some necessary conditions, develop a route, safe tourist carriage process, and a plan to pick up and serve tourists at the facility./.
