Vietnamese tourism has been honored by many foreign press and media agencies, contributing to increasing the attractiveness of Vietnam as a destination on the international tourist map. In particular, Cat Ba (Hai Phong) ranks 2nd in the list of 10 most spectacular beaches in Asia recently recommended by Microsoft's travel page. Meanwhile, Ninh Binh is recommended by the famous travel site The Travel (Canada) as one of the 10 best family vacation destinations in the world in 2023.

The famous international travel site Lonely Planet has just named Vietnam's Thong Nhat railway (North-South railway) at the first place in the world's 9 most spectacular train travel itineraries, departing from the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi, and ending in Ho Chi Minh City with a distance of about 1,730 kilometers. The culinary website TasteAtlas also honored two Vietnamese dishes of spring rolls in the list of 50 most attractive snacks in the world.

Notably, in May 2023, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and promulgated Resolution 82/NQ-CP of the Government on the main tasks and solutions to accelerate the recovery and speed up effective and sustainable tourism development.

The resolution proposes many groups of solutions to realize the goal of developing tourism to truly become a spearhead economic sector, belonging to the group of 30 countries with the world's leading tourism competitiveness./.
