Resorts World One cruise ship brings over 1,700 visitors to Da Nang

Resorts World One cruise ship docked at the central city of Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on October 4, carrying 1,781 tourists of British, Australian, Canadian, Hong Kong (China), and Malaysian nationalities onboard.

During their 10-hour stay in the city, the cruise ship passengers visited a number of popular tourist spots such as the Sun World Ba Na Hills, the Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda and the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Besides, they were taken to the Hoi An Ancient Town and the My Son Sanctuary, both in Quang Nam Province.
The Da Nang Department of Tourism has sent documents to relevant agencies, asking them to coordinate in ensuring security and safety for the visitors during their trip in the city.
In the first nine months of this year, Da Nang welcomed more than 5.8 million visitors, a 2.1-fold rise from the figure recorded in the same period last year, of them 1.6 million are foreigners, a 5.9-fold increase./.
