Russia’s IrAero Airlines brings first foreign visitors to Khanh Hoa

Cam Ranh International Airport welcomed the first regular flight conducted by Russia’s IrAero Airlines on the Irkutsk-Khanh Hoa international air route on March 1, with the flight carrying 98 foreign passengers on board.

The Russian carrier will operate a flight per week every Friday, starting from March 1.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Khanh Hoa province had been a favourite tourist destination among Russian travelers. In 2019, the locality received 451,561 Russian arrivals, up 1.94% on-year and accounting for 80% of the number of Russian tourists to the nation.
IrAero Airlines is a Russian airline based at Irkutsk International Airport. The company's fleet includes Airbus A319, Superjet 100, and Bombardier CRJ-200LR aircraft, as well as seven Antonov passenger aircraft, according to the carrier's website.
