The project to bring power to Co To Island district, capitalised with more than VND1 trillion, is expected to be completed by mid-October. It holds great political and economic significance for the sea and islands in Vietnam's northeastern area.

In late July, Italian contractor Prysmian and Thai Duong Power Construction Company gathered equipment for the cable conduit.

All equipment for the cable conduit are made by titanium

The towers for the electricity system are being built, with lightning protection equipment on the 110kV high-tension line towers. They are expected to be handed over to investors on September 30.

On Co To Island district, a 22kV line tower is being built in Dong Tien Commune and the cable line will be completed on September 22.

On Thanh Lan Island, electricity towers and the 22kV cable line will be completed on August 11.

Support for the construction project was delivered to contractors, thus, construction progress of the 110kV station in Van Yen commune (Van Don district) is being hastened and is forecast to be completed before August 30.
