AgroViet 2023 promotes sustainable agricultural development

The 23rd Vietnam International Agriculture Trade Fair (AgroViet 2023) was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) at the Economic and Trade Exhibition Centre in Hoang Quoc Viet Road, Cau Giay district, Hanoi on September 14.

The annual event, themed "Connecting Value Chains, Developing Ecological and Sustainable Agriculture", features over 200 booths from over 100 domestic and international exhibitors. Among them, the international booths include participants from China, South Korea, Australia, Russia, and 45 localities within Việt Nam

Vietnam has the advantages of geographical location, favourable natural conditions, and incentives from 15 bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements (FTAs) with many partners around the world.

In 2023, Vietnam's export turnover of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products is forecast to surpass the amount of 50 billion USD. Currently, Vietnam is the world's largest supplier of cashew nuts and pepper, and the third largest supplier of rice, and coffee.

AgroViet 2023 not only promotes and expands international economic cooperation and brand promotion but also serves as an opportunity for enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP product owners to consolidate and explore domestic and export markets.

The exhibition will close on September 17./.
