Hanoi: Entrusted credit balance reaches over 13.6 trillion VND

Total outstanding loan balance of the Vietnam Bank for Social Polices’ (VBSP) branch in Hanoi is now 13.628 trillion VND, in which the outstanding loan balance entrusted through socio-political organizations was 13.611 trillion VND, accounting for 99.9% of the total, while the entrusted balance rose by 901 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year.
The information was revealed by VBSP in a recent conference with socio-political organizations.

Currently, customers with trusted outstanding loans number 262,309 in 7,070 savings and loan groups.
Outstanding loans entrusted to socio-political organizations increased compared to the beginning of the year. Among them, the Women's Union managed the highest outstanding balance with over 141,000 borrowers with 7.361 trillion VND; along with the Farmers' Association with outstanding loan balance of 3.325 trillion VND; Veterans Association with 2.264 trillion VND; and Youth Union with 662 billion VND.

In the last months of the year, VBSP’s branch in Hanoi and socio-political organizations will continue to strengthen coordination; and promote the roles and responsibilities of officials of entrusted socio-political organizations in monitoring, managing, urging, consolidating and improving the quality of operations of savings and loan groups.
Commune-level socio-political organizations were asked to focus on reviewing subjects and urgently implementing loan documents for programs to timely disburse in the last months of the year, meeting the demand for loans of local people./.
