Projects granted investment certificates in Long An have quite large investment capital in many fields such as urban areas, trade and logistics.
The largest project awarded the investment certificate is the ecological, commercial and tourism urban area project in Thanh Phu commune, Ben Luc district, invested by DB Investment and Development One Member Limited Liability Company and Ecopark Group Joint Stock Company. This project has a total registered capital of VND16,891 billion (equivalent to USD720 million).
Next is the Thai Tuan Textile Finishing Factory Project invested by Thai Tuan Investment Joint Stock Company, which has a total registered capital of VND12,800 billion (equivalent to USD542 million).
Another project with a large investment capital is the Suntory Pepsico Long An Project in Huu Thanh Industrial Park, with a total investment of VND4,374 billion (equivalent to USD185 million). The project is invested by Suntory Pepsico Vietnam Beverage Co., Ltd.
Among the 9 projects awarded investment licenses are 3 logistics projects with a large total investment.
Notably, Nam Thuan Logistics Park Project, located in Nam Thuan Industrial Park, Duc Hoa Dong Commune, Duc Hoa District, has a total registered capital of VND1,560 billion (equivalent to USD66 million). The project is invested by MV-Pluto Co., Ltd.
Also in Duc Hoa district, MV-Neptune Co., Ltd. invested in Nam Thuan Logistics Park project in Nam Thuan Industrial Park, Duc Hoa Dong commune, Duc Hoa district with a total registered capital of VND1,076 billion (equivalent to USD45 million).
Yokorei Vietnam Co., Ltd. invested in the Vietnam Yokorei cold storage project in Phu An Thanh Industrial Park, An Thanh Commune, Ben Luc District with a total registered capital of VND1,229 billion (equivalent to USD52 million).
Investors also continuously set up cooking oil factories in Long An.
Specifically, Kido Long An Co., Ltd. invested in a plant to produce cooking vegetable oils and confectionery in Southeast Asia Industrial Park, Tan Tap Commune, Can Giuoc District, with a total registered capital of VND800 billion (equivalent to USD34 million).
The LAVOI Joint Stock Company invested in the Long An Vegetable Oil Factory Project in Southeast Asia Industrial Park, in Tan Tap Commune, Can Giuoc District, with a total registered capital of VND500 billion (equivalent to USD21 million).
In addition to manufacturing plants, investors also invested in commercial center projects in Long An. In which, Aeon Vietnam Co., Ltd. invested in Aeon Tan An Trade Center project, located in Ward 6, Tan An city, with a total registered capital of VND1,076 billion (equivalent to USD45 million)./.
