The amount of sugar import allocation in 2023 by auction method is 119,000 tons, according to the Minstry of Industry and Trade.

In 2023, the import allocation for sugar products delivered according to the 2022 auction method is 113,000 tons, in which the import quota for raw sugar is 79,000 tons and for refined sugar is 34,000 tons.
There have been 7 businesses assigned quotas to import 109,000 tons of sugar, including 5 businesses to import raw sugar and 2 businesses to import refined sugar./.
