In Jan-Sep 2021, the country witnessed 85,500 enterprises registered for new establishment with a total capital of more than 1,195 trillion VND, down 13.6% in number of enterprises and down 16.3% in registered capital, from the same period last year.
The average registered capital of a newly-established enterprise in the 9 months reached 14 billion VND, down 3.1% year on year. If including 1,677.2 trillion VND of additional registered capital of 32,000 ongoing enterprises, the total additional capital into the economy over the past 9 months was 2,873 trillion VND, down 20.2 billion VND year on year.
During the period, 32,300 enterprises resumed operation, down 6.6% year on year, bringing the total number of enterprises to 117,800, down 11.8% year on year. On average, the country saw 13,100 enterprises established or resuming operation each month.
In the 9 months, 45,100 enterprises temporarily suspended operation, up 16.7%; 32,400 enterprises waited for dissolution procedures, up 17.4%; and 12,800 enterprises completed dissolution procedures, up 5.9% year on year. On average, 10,000 enterprises withdrew from the market each month; most of them are small and medium enterprises./.
