According to data from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's rice exports in October reached 700,000 tons, bringing in 433 million USD, up 27% in value against October 2022.

Accordingly, in the first 10 months of 2023, Vietnam exported more than 7.1 million tons of rice, worth nearly 4 billion USD, up 17% in volume and 35% in value compared to the same period last year. This is a record rice export turnover compared to the same period of the previous years since 2009.

The Vietnam Food Association (VFA) said that as of October 27, Vietnam’s rice export price still reached the highest level among large-scale rice exporting countries.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2023, Vietnam can export about 7.8 million tons of rice, valued at about 4.2 - 4.5 billion USD./.
