Book about General Vo Nguyen Giap introduced in Greece

The book was implemented and translated into Greek by a group of Greek authors. It is about the revolutionary war to liberate Vietnam, and the valuable military and political experiences of military genius Vo Nguyen Giap.

It also contains a lot of information on General Giap, from his youth to the end of his life, information about his family, great battles he commanded as Vietnam's military leader; in order to further spread the revolutionary and liberation message and bring General’s political viewpoints and actions to the progressive - revolutionary movements of today.

Minister Counsellor Pham Huu Duc thanked the authors for reserving special affection for Vietnam and General Giap to collect and translate the book into Greek language, contributing to helping Greek people better understand his life and cause, and strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Greece.

The ceremony helped Greek readers honour the military genius, the great contribution of General Giap to the just war, and the courage of the Vietnamese people and military in the struggle for the independence and freedom of the motherland of Vietnam./.
