A photo exhibition themed "Vietnam - country and people" was opened in Moscow, Russia by the “Photo Centre” Association on June 20th.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Valery Nikiforov, Director of the "Photo Center" Association, said that the exhibition would bring to viewers the recent developments of Vietnam, both in the fields of politics and economics, as well as introduce the beautiful images of the country, culture and people of Vietnam.
Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, Assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister, Secretary General of the State Council on Issues with UNESCO, expressed his sincere gratitude to the organizers of the exhibition.
He said that through the photos, visitors can see the depth of the long history of traditional relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, and the depth of the friendship between the two nations, which very few countries in the world have.
More than 130 photos at the exhibition include contents such as: Vietnam on the way of integration, thereby affirming the position and role of Vietnam in the international arena; the history of the Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership, since it has been established to now, with important landmarks such as signing the joint statement on the strategic partnership in 2010, signing the declaration on the comprehensive strategic partnership in 2012, and signing the free trade agreement between Vietnam and Eurasia Economic Union in 2015; the economic potential of the Vietnamese market; the military potential of Vietnam; and beautiful images of the nature, country and people of Vietnam.
The exhibition is organized at a very meaningful time, just one week before the official visit to the Russian Federation of President Tran Dai Quang will take place.
As planned, the exhibition will last until July 2nd./.
