English Champion 2018 to lure 30,000 students nationwide

(CPV) - The 6th English Champion 2018, a competition for students (grades 4th-8th) that co-organized by IvyPrep Education and iSMART Education, will take place from February 3rd-April 1st.

Under the theme “Liberate your Talents”, students will participate in four rounds including Knowledge Blaze from February 3rd-4th (students will do online multiple-choice questions in various fields at their home, finding the best 400 ones of each grade in the North and South region for next round), Skill Forge from March 3rd-4th (students gathering at locations selected by the organizers, testing Mathematics and Science knowledge), searching for the best 50 ones of each grade in the North and South region for next round); Confront the Battle on March 18th (students enjoying knock-out by showing their power with speaking and presentation skills, seeking the best one of each grade in the North and South region for the final round).

Following the rotary mechanism, the final round Liberate your Talents set to host in Hanoi on April 1st among 10 best students, all expenses will be covered by the organizing board.

Topics will cover subjects on social and natural sciences, arts, and STEM.

Notably, this year’s competition will first ever organize debates for students from the 6th-7th-8th grades.

Apart from online registration at http://englishchampion.edu.vn/, students can fill in form delivered by the organizing board; visit 14 IvyPrep Education units in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city; VATC - Vietnamese American Vocational Training College in Can Tho city, Dak Lak and Dong Thap provinces; và EQuest Academy in Central Da Nang city.

By upgrading its security-enhanced software, the organizing board is ready serve between 25,000-30,000 competitors. Deadline for registration is January 10th at schools, and January 20th for nonresident students.

So far, as many as 22,000 pupils have registered to compete for up to VND50 billion prizes (scholarships and cash).

After five years, the contest attracted about 80,000 students. In 2017 alone, it drew the participation of around 20,170 pupils nationwide./.
