Binh Phuoc province presents 100 gifts to poor people in Cambodia’s Stung Treng

The trip aims to strengthen people-to-people diplomacy between Vietnam’s Binh Phuoc province and Cambodia’s Stung Treng province.

During the visit, the delegation presented 100 gifts, including daily necessities, to people in difficult circumstances.

Along with the development of good relations between the two Parties, States and people of Vietnam and Cambodia, the cooperative relationship, friendly exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy between Binh Phuoc province and neighboring provinces of Cambodia such as Kratie, Mondulkiri, Tboung Khmum, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom and Stung Treng provinces, have been increasingly strengthened, bringing practical benefits to each side, contributing to fostering and developing the traditional friendship between the people of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Over the past five years (2017-2022), the Union of Friendship Organizations of Binh Phuoc province has regularly called on and mobilized organizations, philanthropists and benefactors to support necessities, medical supplies, medical examination and treatment for Cambodia’s localities in the spirit of helping, cooperating and supporting, with a total of more than 1 billion VND./.
