Farmers in Khanh Hoa province to plant 40,000 trees in tree-planting festival

According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Farmers' Association, in order to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the early days of spring, farmers in the province will plant 40,000 trees for the program “Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho".

The program is associated with the Project "Planting one billion new trees in the period 2021 - 2025" according to Decision No. 524 by the Prime Minister on April 1, 2021 in Khanh Hoa province.

Previously, at the launching ceremony of the program "Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho", Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that in recent years, climate change and natural disasters become more complex, with extreme and unusual weather factors that have greatly affected all aspects of socio-economic life, the environment and ecosystems, threatening the sustainable development of the country.
