Hanoi to spend over 190 billion VND to give gifts to policy beneficiaries

According to information from the Hanoi People's Committee, the capital will give 120,551 gifts with a total cost of more than 190 billion VND to policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

Accordingly, Hanoi will organize many key activities such as: promoting the “gratitude repayment” movement, contributing to encouraging and taking care of the families of people with revolutionary contributors; and proactively and promptly organizing gift presentations on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day to those who are regulated.
It targets that 100% of households with revolutionary contributors will have a stable basic living standard equal to or higher than the average living standard of the people in their residence place; and 100% of Vietnamese heroic mothers are well cared for in terms of material and spiritual life.
The city also mobilizes agencies, unions, political, economic and social organizations to take care of martyrs' mothers who have recently been awarded the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mothers", with the allowance of 2 million VND per person per month or more.
The Hanoi People's Committee will also request to organize practical and effective commemorative activities, mobilizing all party members, officials, young generation and the people in the capital to respond and participate./.
