We expect that the closed organic rice milling system meeting international standards granted to Tan Dat Agricultural Production and Services Cooperative in Vung Liem district of Vinh Long province will help improve techniques, improving rice milling productivity in the region,” Mr. Ono Masuo, Consulate General of Japan in HCMC, said.

At the same time, it helps the cooperative provide high-quality organic rice to meet demands of domestic and foreign markets, thereby contributing to increasing income and improving the economy for farmers in the area, he added.

He also stressed that by providing medical equipment for Khanh Hoa Provincial Psychiatric Hospital and Hoa Binh District Healthcare Centre of Bac Lieu province, it will contribute to improving the quality of healthcare in the localities and surrounding areas.

Also according to Mr. Ono Masuo, in the near future, if there are any projects that bring direct benefits and contribute to improving the quality of life for people in the area, localities can contact the Consulate General of Japan to propose aid./.
