Over 10,000 Vietnamese workers sent to work abroad in February

According to data from businesses, the total number of Vietnamese workers sent to work abroad in February 2024 is 10,553 workers, including 2,789 female workers, according to The Department of Overseas Labor Management under Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Among workers sent to work abroad, 8,212 workers were sent to Japan, including 2,217 female workers; 1,443 workers to Taiwan (China), including 514 female workers; 253 workers to Republic of Korea, with no female workers; 109 workers to Thailand, including no female workers; 100 workers to China, including no female workers; 80 workers to Singapore, including no female workers; 70 workers to Hungary, including 8 female workers, and other markets.

Thus, in the first two months of 2024, the total number of Vietnamese workers sent to work abroad was 23,195 workers, including 7,272 female workers, reaching 18.56% of the plan. The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs aims to send 125,000 workers to work abroad in 2024, focusing on stable, high-income markets such as Japan, Taiwan (China), Republic of Korea and Germany./.
