The Vietnamese youth delegation led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) and Chairman of the National Committee on Youth, aims to convey the message of peace, integration, and development.
With the theme of connecting young people around the world to build a common future, a multipolar, fair world based on cooperation and balance of interests, the 2024 World Youth Festival hopes to create an open space for young people to meet, share, and raise awareness about issues of concern to young people in the current situation.
The event also offers a good chance to introduce the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnam's youth organisations, as well as the role of youth and youth union organisations in the work of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
Through this festival, Vietnam has an opportunity to promote the country's image as well as its socio-economic development achievements after more than 45 years of national unification and more than 30 years of innovation./.
