The 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival will take place from June 7th to 14th in Tam Ky city and Hoi An city.
The information was released at a press briefing on the festival, held in Hanoi by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the central Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee.

Accordingly, the opening ceremony will be held at 8:00 pm on June 9th at the monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tam Ky city, and the closing ceremony will be on June 14th in the ancient city of Hoi An.
It will be an opportunity to promote and honour the cultural values of Vietnam and Quang Nam; exchange experiences on management, conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values between localities in the country, Vietnam and other countries around the world; attract investment to Quang Nam and promote the development of tourism as a key economic sector; and build products and tourism infrastructure in the region.
During the event, there will be seminars and exhibitions on local specific products, folk singing festival, artistic performances, gastronomy introduction, international kite festival and international concerts from June 7th to 10th with the participation of 1,500 artists from 32 artistic troupes from 15 countries and territories.
On this occasion, Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee will open new tourism efforts to promote local tourism./.
