Nghia Hung district launches tree planting festival

A ceremony launching the Tree Planting Festival "Eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho" 2024 has taken place in Nghia Hung district, the Red river delta province of Nam Dinh.

The event was held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Transport (MOT) in coordination with the Nam Dinh provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
In recent years, activities to protect the environment and respond to climate change of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Transport have been organized with many diverse activities, such as planting trees to protect traffic safety corridors.
The tree planting launching ceremony is an opportunity for union officials, union members and young people to raise awareness and responsibility for planting trees, building an increasingly green, clean and beautiful ecological environment.
After the launching ceremony, delegates planted trees and donated funds to support the construction of charity houses for 2 households in difficult circumstances and traffic accident victims in Nghia Hung district./.
