72 photos on Vietnam and Mexico on display in Hanoi

72 photos featuring the nature, people and culture of Vietnam and Mexico are on display at an exhibition which opened at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi on September 25th.

The photos were taken by three Mexican photographers, including Sergio Camalich, Eunice Chao, and Juan Carlos Duran, and three Vietnamese photographers, including Hoang Hai Thinh, Luu Viet Hung and Nguyen Viet Thanh.

The three Mexican photographers together with Nguyen Viet Thanh will meet with visitors to share their experience in photography and the most memorable moments of their careers.

At the opening ceremony, Director of Vietnam Museum of Ethnology Bui Nhat Quang said the exhibits reflect the intersection of daily life as well as festivals of people in the two countries. The exhibition helps visitors to study more about the cultures of Vietnam and Mexico through similarities and differences.

The event is being organized by Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in coordination with the Embassy of Mexico in Vietnam, in celebration of the 209th anniversary of the Independence Day of Mexico and the 74th National Day of Vietnam. It will run at Nguyen Van Huyen street, Cau Giay district until October 25th./.
